How to Paint a Stone Bridge in Acrylics
Suitable for Beginners and Improvers
Service Description
In this class I will show you some basic brush techniques, so that you can achieve the overall feel of the painting without going into too much detail. We will also be using a marker pen for drawing details over the paint - I used a Posca Paint fineliner pen, but any permanent fine liner will do. For this class you will need acrylic paints - I have listed the colours I used below. Don't worry if you don't have the exact colours - I have listed the alternatives beside. You will also need some brushes - I used a flat brush, a round brush and a fine tipped one, and a fan brush for details. Some thick card or paper, or acrylic paper, a water pot, a old cloth or kitchen towel and a mixing palette. Paint Colours: Primary Blue (alternatives cobalt blue, ultramarine blue or cerulean blue Primary Yellow (or cadmium yellow) Hookers Green (any green will do, or you can mix blue and yellow) Burnt Umber (or burnt sienna) Yellow Ochre Purple White Black No previous experience required, suitable for all abilities. Reference images and process pictures will be sent out the day before for the class so you can download and print off. This workshop is suitable for anyone that wants to paint with acrylics, and my easy step by step process makes it suitable for both beginners an improvers.
